DETAILED ITINERARY

Day 1: UK to Delhi
Fly overnight from the UK to Delhi.

Day 2: Delhi
On arrival you will be met by your driver/guide and transferred in your private vehicle into the New Delhi where you will spend 2 nights in a deluxe family room at Scarlette, a stylish 4 bedroom owner-run guesthouse with a lovely mix of Indian heritage and a touch of French flare.

Days 3: Delhi
This morning you will be collected by your driver and a specialist Delhi guide for your private tour of New and Old Delhi, including the Jama Masjid (one of the largest mosques in India), a rickshaw ride through the bustling markets of Chandni Chowk and the impressive Humayun’s Tomb.

Day 4: Delhi to Chambal Valley
Heading into the heart of the Chambal Valley you will continue your adventure with 2 nights in a cottage at Chambal Safari Lodge, an owner run country eco retreat offering warm hospitality and a fantastic selection of local activities to experience the wildlife, history and cultural of the Chambal Valley.

Day 5: Chambal Valley
Full day to enjoy Chambal, guided activities include boat safaris on the Chambal River, nature walks & jeep safaris in the National Chambal Sanctuary, village walks & cycling tours and excursions to Ater Fort and the ancient temple complex at Bateshwar.

Day 6: Chambal Valley to Bharatpur (via Agra)
This morning you will drive to Agra to meet your local specialist guide and enjoy a private tour of the impressive Agra Fort and one of the most iconic monuments in the world, the stunning Taj Mahal.

After a great day of sightseeing you will continue to Bharatpur to spend 1 night in a family deluxe room at The Bagh, an elegant 23 room heritage property set in a peaceful 200 year old orchard.

Day 7: Bharatpur to Jaipur
This morning you will enjoy a guided rickshaw tour of the Keoladeo Ghana National Park, one of the finest bird sanctuaries in India.

You will then continue to the Pink City and capital of Rajasthan to spend 3 nights in a deluxe suite at Samode Haveli, a grand heritage hotel with wonderful facilities including a terrace restaurant, spa and lovely pool area.

Day 8: Jaipur
This morning you will be collected by your driver and a specialist Jaipur guide for your private tour of Jaipur, including the City Palace, the fascinating observatory Jantar Mantar and the Hawa Mahal. Its then back to Samode Haveli for a dip in the pool!

Day 9: Jaipur
Today you will enjoy a guided tour of one of the finest forts in Rajasthan, Amber Fort. You will then continue to Dera Amer, an exclusive wilderness camp where you’ll get to explore the surrounding Saluwar Forest with them and even have lunch together! There are plenty of wonderful sights in Jaipur. Talk to us about the different options.

Day 10: Jaipur to Goa
This morning you will be transferred to Jaipur Airport for your flight to Goa (via Mumbai).

On arrival you will be met and transferred to the south coast to spend 5 nights at Vivenda dos Phalcos, a 6 room boutique lodge, which is owner run by its charming hosts, super laid back and far removed from the tourist hordes of Goa.

Day 11 to 14: Goa (Majorda Beach)
Four full days to relax and play! Vivenda dos Phalcos is only a short walk from one of the nicest beaches in India, Majorda Beach, it has a lovely pool area and there is a host of activities nearby including cycling tours, fishing, water-sports, yoga courses and even a spot of go-karting!

Day 15: Goa to UK (via Mumbai)
Early this morning you will transfer to Goa Airport for your short flight to Mumbai. On arrival you will connect with your flight back to the UK.
