DETAILED ITINERARY

Day 1: London to Livingstone
Fly overnight from the UK to Livingstone (via Johannesburg).

Day 2: Victoria Falls
On arrival into Livingstone, the Zambian side of the mighty Victoria Falls, you will transfer along the Upper Zambezi to spend your first 3 nights at Chundukwa River Lodge. With a great location on the Upper Zambezi this relaxing river retreat is owner run, friendly and the stilted chalets offer beautiful views over the Zambezi River.

Days 3 & 4: Victoria Falls
Two full days to enjoy Vic Falls. We can arrange a variety of great activities such as elephant back safaris, walking with lions and helicopter flights plus your stay at Chundukwa includes a sunset cruise and a day trip to the falls. During your stay the owners Doug and Gail are also really helpful with arranging any extra activities in the area.

Day 5: Victoria Falls to the Lower Zambezi
After a final morning on the Zambezi you will be transferred to Livingstone Airport for your flight down the Zambezi River to your final safari destination, the stunning Lower Zambezi National Park. You will spend 4 nights at Royal Zambezi, a Sundowner favourite overlooking the Zambezi River. “Stay 4 pay 3” Special.

Days 6, 7 & 8:  Lower Zambezi
Three full days to enjoy one of our favourite parks in Africa! With lots of cats, big elephant herds and hippos you can enjoy game drives, walking safaris, boat safaris, canoe safaris and even a spot of a fishing. Day 9: Lower Zambezi to Johannesburg
Following a morning activity and breakfast you will fly north by light aircraft to Lusaka Airport and connect with your flight back to Johannesburg. On arrival you will be met and transferred to the African Rock Hotel to spend 1 night, a conveniently located small boutique hotel with great suites and great food.

Day 10: Johannesburg to the Quirimbas Archipelago, Mozambique
This morning you will be transferred back to Johannesburg Airport for your regional flight to Pemba on the Mozambique coast. On arrival you will be met and transferred on a beautifully scenic 25mins flight to Ibo Island Lodge where you will end with 5 nights of total relaxation. Luxury Ibo Island Lodge has been described as one of the most magical and atmospheric lodges in Africa and will be an idyllic last stop. This is just an idea. Days 11 to 14: Ibo Island
Ibo Island Lodge promises the ideal setting to enjoy a great range of activities in the magical Quirimbas Archipelago from guided birding walks to dhow safaris and dolphin cruises as well as cultural tours. With great reefs and excellent marine life you also have fantastic snorkelling and diving opportunities.

Day 15: Ibo Island to London
Today you will transfer back to Pemba Airport for your regional flight to Johannesburg. On arrival you will connect with your International flight back to UK.

Day 16: London
Welcome Home.
