DETAILED ITINERARY

Day 1: UK to Ho Chi Minh City
Fly overnight from the UK to Ho Chi Minh City.

Day 2: Ho Chi Minh City
Head into the city to spend your first 2 nights at the Silverland Yen, with its central location and rooftop infinity pool this is a perfect place for a family to start their Vietnam adventure. This evening you will head on a private evening street food tour. You will all get a chance to try various stunning delicacies from the south including Goi Cuon (Vietnamese spring rolls), Banh Xeo (crispy pancakes) and Hu Tieu (Rice noodles). Once you have feasted and enjoyed the buzz of the city, you will end your night at a local café to enjoy some music, dancing and dessert, if you can fit it in… Welcome to Vietnam!

Days 3: Ho Chi Minh City
Our local friendly guide will pick you all up this morning for scavenger hunt in and out of the buzzing markets of Ho Chi Minh. A bit of fun for all the family with a chance to really soak up the atmosphere of Vietnamese daily life. This afternoon is free for you to explore some more or relax by the pool. Day 4: Mekong Delta
After breakfast you will be transferred deep into the winding water networks of the Delta Your journey into the Delta includes a ride on tri-motorcycle, a short cruise through the waterways, cycling in Phong Nam Village to meet locals and a 5-course lunch! Day 5: Hue
Today you will fly from Ho Chi Minh City directly into Hue where you will be transferred to the family-friendly Pilgrimage Village Boutique and Spa to stay for 2 nights. Once checked in, we recommend you make the most out of the hotel’s stunning pool area. Order some food and a cool drink while the kids play in the huge pool – a perfect family Sundowner moment.

Day 6: Hue
A full private day tour awaits you this morning as you are met by one of our friendly local guides and shown around Hue. Starting with a visit to the UNESCO Imperial Citadel before being shown around the architecturally stunning tomb of the Emperor Minh Mang set within 18 hectares of spectacular forest. From there you will head to meet  local artisan Mr. Cu, the director of Hue’s ‘Kite Flying Club’. He will talk you through his family historu of kite-making before you head to the workshop and, under Mr. Cu’s guidance, grab a brush and start painting a traditional, 1.5-meter-long Hue-style kite. Wrap up this kite making Hue experience with a truly unique handmade souvenir- a reminder of Hue’s rich artistic heritage. 

Day 7: Hoi An
Today you will travel through the Hai Van Pass, also known as the Pass of Ocean Clouds, to the picturesque town of Hoi An to stay for 2 nights at the Historic Hoi An Hotel perfectly located in the heart of the old town. Enjoy the rest of your day at leisure exploring the cobbled streets of the Ancient Town, visiting tailors to get clothes made for all the family or let us know if you would like to add in one of our many food tours to try some of Hoi An’s stunning cuisine.

Day 8: Hoi An
Time for the family to jump on bikes today for a private tour of the stunning local countryside. Travel along lush water coconut forests, tranquil ponds and green rice fields where you will be put to work helping on a local farm that supports over 14 neighbouring families. Talk to locals and learn new skills. You’ll even get a chance to ride in a traditional basket boat. With all that hard work and excitement, sit and enjoy a cool drink and delicious meal with the local families at a one of a kind restaurant surrounded by lush green rice fields. A truly unforgettable family experience!

Day 9: Hoi An
Time to get your chef hats on with our morning cooking class designed for all the family. Head off to the colourful market, and experience the amazing sights, sounds and aromas it offers. Chatting to local sellers you will get a chance to purchase fresh ingredients you will all use in the cooking class. With the help of one of Hoi An’s chefs you will be shown how to make several Vietnamese classics from scratch – hopefully just in time for lunch! Or if cooking is not your style, head to a community garden, don some traditional Vietnamese clothing and get to work in the fields to understand how villagers work together to farm the land. From here, it’s time to head just down the road hit the beach and relax for 5 nights at the Boutique Hoi An Resort. Set amongst beautiful gardens with its own large pool and private beach as the perfect backdrop, this stunning hotel is the ideal place to unwind for the next 5 nights! There are a huge range of different beach hotels in Vietnam from luxury island hideaways to larger resort style hotels to rustic beach bungalows. Day 10, 11, 12 & 13: Hoi An beach
Four full days to relax and enjoy the perfect beach holiday. If you find yourself wanting to do more then there is a quick complimentary shuttle that will take you straight back into Hoi An’s old town. We can also arrange a trip to the ancient temple of My Son, half-day river fishing expeditions, farm tours, trips to the Marble Mountains and more. Though with the hotel’s stunning large pool area and private beach, no one would blame you for wanting to do nothing more than relaxing and having some fun beach time with the family.

Day 14: Hoi An to UK
You will enjoy one last breakfast overlooking the stunning ocean before being transferred back to Da Nang international airport for your flight home.
