DETAILED ITINERARY
Day 1: London to Cape Town
Fly overnight from the UK to Cape Town.
Day 2: Cape Town
On arrival you will be transferred into the city to Parker Cottage where you will spend your first 3 nights, this historic property is two magnificent Victorian houses joined together. The cottage offers a relaxed and personalised retreat whilst being within easy distance of the cultural city. Check out our Cape Town Guide.
Days 3&4: Cape Town
Two free days to explore this incredible city! We can help arrange some fantastic excursions – travel up Table Mountain, city cycling tours, kayaking adventures, historical tours with Robben Island and more… Not sure what to do? Contact us for our recommendations based on what you like.
Day 5: Cape Town to the Kruger
This morning you will be taken back to Cape Town Airport where you will check-in for your flight to the Kruger. On arrival you will be transferred into the Southern Sabi Sands, heading to Notten’s Bush Camp where you will spend 3 nights, a family run safari hideaway offering first class game viewing and hospitality. Days 6 & 7: On safari in the Kruger
Two full days of exciting Big 5 safari! Head out on game drives and bush walks for some serious animal encounters and amazing sightings of Africa’s big animals!
Day 8: The Kruger to Victoria Falls
This morning you will be taken back to Kruger Airport where you will check-in for your flight to Livingstone. On arrival you will be transferred across the border to spend 3 nights at Batonka Guest Lodge, a tranquil heaven away from the bustle of the city, this lodge provides a spacious room with beautiful surroundings and welcoming staff.
Days 9 & 10: Victoria Falls
Two full days to enjoy the Falls and the many activities on offer – microlight flights, hiking, rhino encounters, canoe safaris and helicopter fights. Get in touch for more options on what to do here!
Day 11: Victoria Falls to Johannesburg
This morning you will be transferred to Victoria Falls Airport to check-in for your flight to Johannesburg. On arrival you will be transferred to The African Rock Hotel to spend 1 night, designed to be both roomy and practical, this locally-owned hotel is full of culture – filled with one-of-a-kind furniture pieces designed by the owner!
Days 12: Johannesburg to Vilanculos
Today you will be transferred back to Johannesburg Airport to catch your flight to Vilanculos. On arrival you will be transferred to the Bahia Mar Boutique Hotel to spend 5 nights, located where the azure waters of the Indian Ocean touch the palm fringed beaches of Vilanculos. The ultimate destination for experiencing colourful local culture and the beauty of the Bazaruto Archipelago.
Days 13 to 16: Vilanculos

Day 17: Vilanculos to London

Her suggestions were amazing, our expectations were pretty high to begin with, but were massively exceeded in each place without exception. Each transfer went off without a hitch, and she’d primed each hotel that it was an anniversary celebration and we were greeted with champagne at every one of them, one of them even made us a cake!

The selection of accommodation was exactly what we would have chosen from colonial Elephant house to coastal Lavender Manor. The fab boutique hotel in Cape Town was a great location for New Year celebrations and the trip to Franschoek and the winelands fabulous, not just the wine hic hic but the journey there and the spectacular scenery on the drive over.

From the minute we checked in at the Emirates desk to the minute we landed back in the UK, everything was perfect. Our accommodation was WOW, our transfer drivers and trips were WOW. I don’t want to share where we stayed because they were so special and if we want to go back, I don’t want to find them unavailable!!!

We can honestly say it was the best holiday we have ever had. The small boutique guest houses were all amazing and certainly gave us a real flavour of the country. We drove to Cape Town where our lovely hotel was a perfect base to explore this beautiful place and beaches along with all the sights.

We loved the safari in Zambia. Such brilliant, friendly guides. The diving at Thonga was another favourite because of the colours and variety of sea life. All in all, it was a great fun, exciting, informative and relaxing holiday.

We just wanted to say thank you for organising such a wonderful holiday for us. We had such an amazing 10 days and everything went just as planned. We would highly recommend James to our friends and the order that we visited each place was perfect. We were lucky in Cape Town as one of the days was warm and sunny so we were able to get up to Table Mountain before we left for Hermanus. We also braved great white shark cage diving and saw plenty of whales on our lovely walk along the Hermanus coastal path.

The honeymoon was fantastic. The best experience. Everything went to plan no problems. The Cape Town car hire was a fantastic recommendation that meant we got to go everywhere. Garonga was just perfect. Accommodation outstanding and Food and service 5*. The highlight…. an encounter with a leopard on safari one morning, got the heart pumping slightly.
