Starting with a super contemporary boutique hotel in Camps Bay you will move to the hottest destination in the Cape Winelands to relax in a beautiful village retreat and finally you will fly off to the Kruger to end in style at one of finest Big 5 game reserves in Southern Africa.
DETAILED ITINERARY
Day 1: London to Cape Town
Fly overnight from the UK to Cape Town.
Day 2: Cape Town
On arrival into Cape Town you will collect your hire car and drive into the city, heading for the trendy beach suburb of Camps Bay to start your honeymoon with 4 nights at The Pod. A seriously cool contemporary 17 room hotel The Pod oozes style. You will not want to leave!
Days 3 to 5: Cape Town
Three full days to enjoy Cape Town. Camps Bay is the perfect spot for a relaxing stay in the city and its main drag of restaurants and cafes is the place to be seen in the city, especially for a Sundowner Moment.

Day 6: Cape Town to Franschhoek, Winelands
After a final breakfast by the ocean, you will drive 1 hour to the stunning Franschhoek Valley to spend 3 nights at the award winning Akademie Street. This owner run 5 star guest lodge offers some of the best hospitality in the country, beautiful accommodation and the perfect location in the village of Franschhoek.
Days 7 & 8: Franschhoek, Winelands
Two free days to explore and indulge in the Cape Winelands. This village is all about the delicious food and wine with numerous award winning restaurants and wine estates on your doorstep.
We can also arrange some romantic excursions such as vineyard picnics, horse-riding and bespoke wineland tours. Ask us for the current top restaurants.
Day 9: Franschhoek to the Kruger
Head back to Cape Town airport this morning, you will fly directly to KMIA Kruger Airport where you will be met and transferred by private vehicle 2.5hrs to Richard Branson’s Ulusaba Private Game Reserve where you will end your honeymoon in style with 3 nights at Ulusaba Safari Lodge.
As you’d expect from Mr Branson, Ulusaba is first class in every way with stunning accommodation, excellent staff and one of the best safari experiences in Southern Africa.
Days 10 & 11: Safari in the Kruger
Two full days of serious safari on the Ulusaba Private Game Reserve. The excellent rangers and trackers at Ulusaba will bring the bush to life on twice daily game drives and morning safari walks and chances of spotting the Big 5 are incredible high in this region.Take a look at our wildlife guide.
Day 12: Kruger to the UK (via Johannesburg)
Following a final morning game drive and breakfast you will be transferred by private vehicle back to KMIA Kruger Airport for your short flight to Johannesburg. On arrival you will connect with your International flight back to UK.

The fab boutique hotel in Cape Town was a great location for New Year celebrations and the trip to Franschoek and the winelands fabulous, not just the wine hic hic but the journey there and the spectacular scenery on the drive over.

From the minute we checked in at the Emirates desk to the minute we landed back in the UK, everything was perfect. Our accommodation was WOW, our transfer drivers and trips were WOW. I don’t want to share where we stayed because they were so special and if we want to go back, I don’t want to find them unavailable!!!

We can honestly say it was the best holiday we have ever had. The small boutique guest houses were all amazing and certainly gave us a real flavour of the country. We drove to Cape Town where our lovely hotel was a perfect base to explore this beautiful place and beaches along with all the sights.

We loved the safari in Zambia. Such brilliant, friendly guides. The diving at Thonga was another favourite because of the colours and variety of sea life. All in all, it was a great fun, exciting, informative and relaxing holiday.

We just wanted to say thank you for organising such a wonderful holiday for us. We had such an amazing 10 days and everything went just as planned. We would highly recommend James to our friends and the order that we visited each place was perfect. We were lucky in Cape Town as one of the days was warm and sunny so we were able to get up to Table Mountain before we left for Hermanus. We also braved great white shark cage diving and saw plenty of whales on our lovely walk along the Hermanus coastal path.
