SAMPLE ITINERARY

Day 1: UK to Manila
Fly from the UK to Manila. 

Day 2: Manila
On arrival into Manila this evening, where you will be met and transferred to Savoy Hotel Manila, just a 20 minutes’ drive from the airport. Relax after your flight and get ready to head to Palawan Island in the morning!

Day 3: Manila to Puerto Princesa
This morning you will be taken back to Manila Airport to take the short flight to Palawan’s capital, Puerto Princesa. On arrival you will be met and privately transferred to Daluyon Beach & Mountain Resort set on a stunning secluded beach, with St Paul’s Subterranean Mountain Ranges as its backdrop. Day 4: Puerto Princesa
Today you will head out on a tour of Puerto Princesa’s Underground River, recognised as a UNESCO World Heritage site, and dubbed one of the most impressive cave systems in the world! Equipped with head torches, you will take a paddle boat ride into the heart of the 8-kilometre river, which boasts magnificent stalactite and stalagmite rock formations formed by the forces of nature.

Day 5: Puerto Princesa to Port Barton
Bidding farewell to the capital you will be driven to rustic Port Barton on the North West Coast of the island. Spend 4 nights at Parrots Boutique Resort, a modern, stylish and comfortable hideaway with a unique design that has been inspired by Mediterranean and Filipino architecture. Days 6-8: Port Barton
Wake up to the sound of the waves and spend your days, relaxing in a hammock, snorkelling, and kayaking the bay. Explore the spectacular islands just off Port Barton’s Coast with an island-hopping tour (or two!) and take a walk along ‘Long Beach’, heralded as the longest stretch of beach in the Philippines. Enjoy sundowners on the sand as you watch the sky turn from blue, to pink to orange as the sun slowly sets into the sea! 

Day 9: Port Barton to El Nido
Today you will  continue north to the tip of Palawan Island, and the iconic town of El Nido. Spend 4 nights at the charming Buko Beach Resort designed and built with native materials and local Filipino craftsman, this is a really lovely property located between lush, jungle-clad mountains and the beautiful beachfront of Corong Corong. Days 10-12: El Nido
Cameras at the ready as you head out on two days of island-hopping adventures! Marvel at the limestone casts synonymous with the region, hop in a kayak and discover the multitude of lagoons and secret beaches dotted throughout the archipelago and get your snorkel and masks on for some incredible snorkelling opportunities in the warm turquoise waters. Leave yourself a day for some serious R&R, wander along the beach front, enjoy the properties pool with a view and soak up that island life!

Day 13: El Nido to Manila
Enjoy a final morning at Buko Bay, before being privately transferred to El Nido Airport to catch the short flight to Manila. On arrival you will connect with your overnight flight to the UK.

Day 14: Manila to the UK
You will arrive back in the UK this morning – welcome home!
