DETAILED ITINERARY
Day 1: UK to Delhi
Fly overnight from the UK to Delhi.
Day 2: Delhi
On arrival you will be met by your driver/guide and transferred in your private vehicle into the New Delhi where you will spend 2 nights at The Imperial, an elegant colonial hotel that oozes class and sophistication in the heart of New Delhi.
Days 3: Delhi
This morning you will be collected by your driver and a specialist Delhi guide for your private tour of New and Old Delhi, including the Jama Masjid (one of the largest mosques in India), a rickshaw ride through the bustling markets of Chandni Chowk and the impressive Humayun’s Tomb.
Day 4: Delhi to Jaipur
Bidding farewell to Delhi you will be driven to the outskirts of Jaipur, the capital of Rajasthan, heading to the village of Samode where you will spend 3 nights at the Samode Palace, a stunning 475 year old palace tucked away in the Aravali Hills where you can live like royalty!
Day 5: Jaipur
This morning you will be collected by your driver and a specialist Jaipur guide for your private tour of Jaipur, including the City Palace, the fascinating observatory Jantar Mantar, the Hawa Mahal and one of the finest forts in Rajasthan, Amber Fort. Day 6: Samode Village
Full day to relax and explore Samode. Just beyond the palace gates you can explore the cobbled streets of Samode village with its market and little shops, alternatively the staff are on hand to arrange some horse-riding or camel safaris.
Day 7: Jaipur to Jodhpur
A long drive today as you continue west through Rajasthan to the shimmering Blue City of Jodhpur where you will continue your adventure with 2 nights at Raas, a super stylish contemporary hotel with classy restaurants, a beautiful pool area and unrivalled views of Mehrangarh Fort.
Day 8: Jodhpur
This morning you will be collected by your driver and a specialist Jodhpur guide for your private tour of Jodhpur, including a walking tour of the Clock Tower market, the Jaswant Thada cenotaph and one of the finest forts in India, Mehrangarh Fort. Days 10: Jodhpur to Chanod
Driving south today into the heart of the Rajasthani countryside you will head to Chanod to spend 2 nights at Chanoud Garh, a wonderful restored 300 year old palace which is owner-run by the 13th generation of the original family and offers great hospitality and one of the best rural experiences in Rajasthan.
Day 11: Chanod
Full day to enjoy Chanoud Garh. The family are on hand to help with a variety of local activities which include sunrise excursions to Chanoud Lake, village safaris by jeep and camel and numerous walks in this beautiful region.
Day 12: Chanod to Udaipur
Continuing south today you will stop for a tour of the stunning Ranakpur Jain Temples before continuing to the beautiful lake city of Udaipur to end your adventure with 3 nights at Leela Palace Udaipur, an opulent hotel with a prime location on the banks of Lake Pichola, overlooking the Lake and City Palaces.
Day 13: Udaipur
This morning you will be collected by your driver and a specialist Udaipur guide for your private tour of Udaipur, including the City Palace, beautiful gardens of Saheliyon-ki-Bari and the Jagdish Temple. You will also have time this afternoon to explore the winding streets of the old town.
After a relaxing afternoon you will enjoy a private boat excursion on Lake Pichola.
Day 14: Udaipur
Free day to explore Udaipur. After a relaxing breakfast and dip in the pool you may want to wander into the old town to hit the markets – well worth a visit!
Day 15: Udaipur to UK
After a leisurely morning, you will be transferred to the airport for your short flight back to Delhi. On arrival you will connect with your onward flight to the UK.

Our tour of Kerala was perfect in every way, we decided to go with a private driver who stayed with us for the whole trip – we found this a more relaxed way to travel. We were so impressed with Periplus, efficient in every way, our driver, Sunil, was very polite, always on time and in many ways added to our holiday.
