Fly overnight from the UK to Kilimanjaro (via Nairobi).

Day 2: Kilimanjaro to Lake Manyara National Park
On arrival you will be met by your driver/guide and private 4×4 vehicle and you will head straight to Lake Manyara National Park to spend 1 night at Kirurumu Manyara Lodge, a tented lodge with 27 rooms on the edge of the rift valley which offers incredible views of Lake Manyara – the view from the bar is particularly amazing and a great spot for a drink!

This afternoon you will start your safari with an afternoon game drive in search of those tree climbing lions. This beautiful park boasts a huge amount of wildlife and is also a key area for elephants, giraffes, buffalo and of course flocks of flamingos in season.

Days 3: Lake Manyara to Ngorongoro Crater
This morning you can either head back into the park for a morning game drive with picnic lunch or alternatively you can enjoy a half-day hike in the valley with a Masai guide. You will then climb the rift valley escarpment heading to the rim of the mighty Ngorongoro Crater where you will spend 2 nights at Ang’ata Ngorongoro Camp, a beautiful 8 tent camp in an Acacia forest and one of the few privileged camps in this prime safari location.

Day 4: Ngorongoro Crater
An early start this morning as you drive down into the Ngorongoro Crater for a day of exciting Big 5 game viewing with a picnic lunch – staying on the rim of the crater will ensure you are one of the first onto the crater floor! This incredible sunken caldera is one of the most breath-taking safari locations on the planet and resident to a huge concentration of wildlife which includes black rhino and large lion prides. After an incredible day you will return to camp.

Day 5: Ngorongoro to Serengeti National Park
Another day of jaw dropping scenery and wildlife as you head down onto the plains of the Serengeti National Park to continue your safari with 2 nights at Ang’ata Serengeti Camp, the sister camp to Ang’ata Ngorongoro this is a slightly larger camp with 12 tents but equally as beautiful, very friendly staff and located in the game rich Seronera region of the park. There are a huge number of camps in the Serengeti. Ask us for our recommendation based on the places you like to stay at. Call 01273 923100.

Full day of game viewing in the Serengeti National Park with your guide and private 4×4 vehicle. One of the most incredible game viewing regions in Africa the Serengeti National Park has a huge concentration of resident wildlife and enormous herds of wildebeest and zebra pass through the park on the annual migration – a predators paradise! This is also the perfect location for a sunrise balloon safari over the Serengeti!

Following a final morning game drive and breakfast in the bush you will fly by light aircraft to the stunning island of Zanzibar, heading to the capital Stone Town where you will spend 1 night at the Zanzibar Palace Hotel, an independent, award winning heritage property right in the heart of town with cool Swahili style rooms. Enjoy an afternoon walking tour of Stone Town followed by a “Sundowner Moment” on the rooftops of Stone Town.

The trip itself was very well organised and ran incredibly smoothly, something which is not always achievable in East Africa! The partners they work with in Tanzania are of top quality: the guides, accommodation, connections, transport and itinerary were really well thought through and of good quality.

Matt Baker Tanzania

The camps we stayed in were extremely well run and comfortable, and the guides were excellent. They made sure we also got to see many of the rest of the wildlife of the region – everything from amazing numbers of Impala, Giraffe, Elephant, Zebra, lions, Cheetah and Leopard, and even Wild Dog that we had hoped to see but doubted we would be so lucky!

Peter Haine Tanzania

Just got back from the most amazing trip. Got chased by a group of hippos, had breakfast with baboon, impala and elephants and saw a large group of giraffe crossing crocodile infested water. The game drives where amazing as were the lodges. Unguja Beach lodge was just heaven. 12 steps from our own golden beach. Dinner every night was outstanding as were all the staff throughout our stay.

Laura Potts Tanzania & Zanzibar

The organisation and services was perfect especially at Impala Selous Camp which we loved. In particular the friendliness of the staff and the competency of our guides. The mix of jeep, boat and walking was an excellent way to mix up safari and see more of the fauna and flora. And what about taking a breakfast in the bush, incredible!!!

Phillip Hall Tanzania & Zanzibar

We had a wonderful time away. Lake manze camp was outstanding – beautiful setting and such great staff. So was Pongwe – again staff, food, location fantastic!

Emily Baker Tanzania & Zanzibar

Selous Riverside was the perfect balance I was looking for – basic and far from anywhere but there was hot showers and cold beer at the end of the day. We loved how we had the same safari guide and the same waiter for the duration of the stay, we really felt at home and still pine for David! We did an early morning walking safari, a riverboat safari and 2 full day safaris which were awesome. As a special treat we were taken far away to some hot springs for a swim…absolutely idyllic.

Sam Bowden Tanzania

Selous Riverside was great with Clive and Raine being great hosts – I even organised a football match with the local school children and some lodge staff photos to follow! We had our own special meal with camp fire outside our lodge!

Matthew Robb Tanzania & Zanzibar

Our holiday was truly amazing. The itinerary was superb. Lake Manze was an experience that we’ll never forget. Having elephants eating their lunch feet from where we sat our veranda was an unbelievable sight. On our final night at Manze lions were prowling around the tents which was pretty frightening but awesome. Unguja was off the scale – Ralph and particular Elies were superb hosts and the location activities and accommodation were second to none. The trip of a lifetime and a fitting way to mark 25 years of marriage!

Matthew Robb Tanzania & Zanzibar

Thank you for arranging a fantastic holiday. We both really enjoyed ourselves and felt totally refreshed upon our return. The game viewing was spectacular, we were so lucky to see the pantheon of game on offer including hyena, wild dog and leopard, as well as a different pride of lion on each day we went out.

Hazel Bellfield Tanzania

We had an amazing time.  Everything was brilliant (even the baboon leaving a gift on the bed in the Serengeti!). I think Nick’s highlight was the lion cubs.  I loved all the safari, but seeing the turtles hatch in Pangani was truly awesome. All the accommodation was exactly what we had hoped for.  I hadn’t realised we would have a tent on our first night as well.

Jacqui Davids Tanzania

The whole trip has been a fantastic experience and everyone had a terrific time.  The recommendations and arrangements were faultless. All the camps were excellent. The favourite was the camp in the Serengeti, it was the most basic but had the best atmosphere and was really among the wildlife, we had loins and leopards round the tents during the night!!!! The wildlife was more than we expected, we saw absolutely everything and more.  Score out of ten for the whole trip……12 A++++++!!!! We both think it was magic!!!

Prue Richard Tanzania

We enjoyed the trip immensely!  We found all the arrangements faultless and the food & locations on all occasions, was exceptional as promised. We couldn’t have been more pleased with the safari, it was quite beyond our expectations;  both exciting, informative and personal. It was definitely a ‘once in a lifetime’ experience. The holiday flew by and we have come home both rested and fulfilled. Thank you for your kind & helpdul advice.

The Dunn Family Tanzania

We had a fantastic time – even the long journeys between parks were full of interest.  Our driver and guide were excellent … looked after us very well. James provided a helpful and friendly service at all times to make the perfect safari.  The trip exactly matched our requirements and budget and went exactly to plan.  We came home tired but happy.

Tessa Edwards Tanzania

Climbed Kili- toughest but most rewarding thing I have ever done in my life. All lodges/ camps and hotels in Tanzania and Uganda were spot-on. Gorrila trekking in Brindi was out of this world. Thank you for recommending the chimpanzee trekking – a great experience.
