DETAILED ITINERARY

Day 1: London to Johannesburg
Fly overnight from the UK to Johannesburg. Fancy spending some time in Johannesburg? Contact us to tailor this holiday idea to your family.

Day 2: Johannesburg to Madikwe Game Reserve
On arrival into Johannesburg you will be transferred to the Madikwe Game Reserve where you will spend 3 nights on safari at the Tau Game Lodge, designed to reflect the natural surrounding and use as many natural resources as possible, this lodge was built overlooking a waterhole, attracting a variety of wildlife. This afternoon you will get to have you first exciting 4×4 Safari!

Days 3&4: Madikwe Game Reserve
Two full days of exciting Big 5 Madikwe safari. Head out on twice daily game drives for some serious animal encounters and amazing sightings of Africa’s big animals! A very family friendly lodge, Tau has a great childrens programme called the Tau Cubz Club.

Day 5: Madikwe to Johannesburg
After a final morning game drive, you will be transferred back to Johannesburg, where you will spend 1 night at The African Rock, designed to be both roomy and practical, this locally-owned hotel is full of culture – filled with one-of-a-kind furniture pieces designed by the owner!

Day 6: Johannesburg to Mauritius
This morning you will be taken back to Johannesburg airport to check-in for your flight to Mauritius. On arrival you will be transferred to the East Coast to spend 6 nights at the Constance Belle Mare Plage, set along a stunning white sand beach, this hotel was inspired by the beauty of the East Coast, space and style were combined to create comfort and radiate brightness.

Days 11 to 9 : Mauritius
Five full days to relax and enjoy the many activities at the Belle Mare Plage – activities include a variety of non-motorised water-sports (kayaks, windsurfing, pedalos, snorkelling), water-skiing & wakeboarding, tennis courts and table tennis. Day 12: Mauritius to London
