DETAILED ITINERARY

Day 1: London to Nairobi
Fly overnight from the UK to Nairobi (direct).

Day 2: Nairobi to the Maasai Mara
On arrival you will be met and transferred to Wilson Domestic Airport to board your light aircraft flight to the Maasai Mara where you will spend 3 nights at Basecamp Masai Mara, an award winning 11 tent eco camp on the Talek River which works very closely with the local Maasai community and has a big focus on conservation.

Day 3 & 4: Maasai Mara

Days 5: Maasai Mara to Zanzibar (via Nairobi)
Following a final morning game drive and breakfast in the bush you will transfer to the airstrip for your light aircraft flight to Nairobi. After some lunch in the capital you will head to the International Airport for your flight to Zanzibar, heading to the capital Stone Town to spend 1 night at Mashariki Palace.

This traditional town house has been lovingly restored and offers stylish accommodation in 18 characterful rooms – we particularly love the sea view terrace which is amazing for Sundowners and the cosy “Table for One” restaurant.

Day 6: Stone Town to the Zanzibar East Coast
After a free morning to wander the narrow ancient streets of Stone Town you will be collected and transferred to the east coast to spend your final 6 nights at Pongwe Beach Lodge, an extremely popular, super laid back beach lodge with friendly staff, great food and a beautiful secluded beach. Day 7 to 11: Zanzibar East Coast
Five full days to relax and enjoy this stunning part of Zanzibar. At Pongwe you can enjoy kayaking, mountain biking, snorkelling, fishing, scuba diving and jeep hire. We can also arrange a huge variety of excursions on the island such as spice tours, cooking tours, wildlife tours to Jozani forest, dolphin tours and romantic sunset dhow cruises.

Days 12: Zanzibar to Nairobi
After a final relaxing morning on the beach you will transfer back to Zanzibar Airport for your flight back to Nairobi.

On arrival you will be transferred to Nairobi National Park to spend 1 final night at Ololo Safari Lodge, a traditional farmhouse well removed from the city offering great hospitality and a great end to any Kenya safari!

Enjoy an afternoon game drive in the park.

Day 13: Nairobi to UK (direct)
This morning you will be collected and transferred to the International Airport for your flight back to the UK (direct).

I cannot say enough good things about Saruni Samburu. The rooms are huge with breathtaking views. What separated Saruni from everywhere else was the staff and level of service.
