DETAILED ITINERARY

Day 1: UK to Delhi
Fly overnight from the UK to Delhi.

Day 2: Delhi
On arrival you will be met by your driver/guide and transferred in your private vehicle into the New Delhi where you will spend 2 nights in a deluxe family room at Scarlette, a stylish 4 bedroom owner-run guesthouse with a lovely mix of Indian heritage and a touch of French flare.

Days 3: Delhi
This morning you will be collected by your driver and a specialist Delhi guide for your private tour of New and Old Delhi, including the Jama Masjid (one of the largest mosques in India), a rickshaw ride through the bustling markets of Chandni Chowk and the impressive Humayun’s Tomb.

Day 4: Delhi to Agra
Bidding farewell to the capital you will be driven south to Agra to spend 1 night in interconnecting rooms at the Trident Agra, one of the best larger hotels in the city it is family friendly, has a great pool and is only minutes from the Taj Mahal.

This afternoon with your driver and a local specialist Agra guide you will visit Agra Fort, a 16th century Mughal fortress with stunning views across the Yamuna River to the Taj Mahal. You will then head into one of the most iconic monuments in the world, the Taj Mahal, to enjoy sunset and a family selfie!

Day 5: Agra to Jaipur
Today you will drive to the deserted city of Fatehpur Sikri before continuing to the outskirts of Jaipur to spend 1 night in the Aravali Hills in 2 tents at Dera Amer Tented Camp, a fantastic owner run elephant project which is now offering an exclusive glamping experience with the Elephants!

Day 6: Jaipur
This morning you will meet the Elephants as you enjoy a chance to bathe, feed & even paint these majestic creatures before heading off on an Elephant Back safari! After lunch in camp you will head to one of the finest forts in Rajasthan, Amber Fort, before heading into the Pink City to explore the City Palace.

You will spend 2 nights in a family deluxe room at the charming Khandela Haveli, a fantastic value heritage property with bags of character, attentive staff and small rooftop pool.

Day 7: Jaipur
Full day at leisure to explore Rajasthan’s capital city. The markets of Jaipur are world renowned and we can also arrange some extra activities if you want to fill your time – perhaps a walking tour of Old Jaipur or perhaps attending a block printing workshop.

Day 8: Jaipur to Deogarh
Heading into the heart of the Rajasthani countryside you will drive to Deogarh where you will spend 2 nights in a family room at Dev Shree, the owner run residence of Shatrunjai and Bhavna who offer first class friendly hospitality, beautiful accommodation and a wonderful rural setting.

Day 9: Deogarh
Full day to enjoy the many activities – lake walks, culinary workshops, rural train rides, yoga classes, artisan walks in the village, birdwatching, horse-riding and trekking to the Sand Mata Temple.

Day 10: Deogarh to Jodhpur
Today you will drive to the shimmering Blue City of Jodhpur to spend 2 nights in a family superior room at the Ratan Vilas, a charming 1920s heritage mansion owned by the grandson & great grandson of Maharaj Ratan Singhji.

Day 11: Jodhpur
This morning you will be collected by your driver and a specialist Jodhpur guide for your private tour of Jodhpur, including a walking tour of the Clock Tower market, the Jaswant Thada cenotaph and one of the finest forts in India, Mehrangarh Fort. Day 12: Jodhpur to Chanod
Driving south today you will head to Chanod to spend 1 night in a family suite at Chanoud Garh, a wonderful restored 300 year old palace which is owner-run by the 13^th generation of the original family and offers great hospitality and one of the best rural experiences in Rajasthan.

Day 13: Chanod to Udaipur
Continuing south today you will stop for a tour of the stunning Ranakpur Jain Temples before continuing to the beautiful lake city of Udaipur to end your adventure with 2 nights in a family room at Devra, a country retreat in the Aravali Hills overlooking the city, offering warm hospitality and delicious home cooking from Major Durga and his family.

Day 14: Udaipur
This morning you will be collected by your driver and a specialist Udaipur guide for your private tour of Udaipur, including the City Palace, beautiful gardens of Saheliyon-ki-Bari and the Jagdish Temple. You then return to Devra for a relaxing afternoon.

Day 15: Udaipur to UK
Early this morning you will be transferred to the airport for your short flight back to Delhi. On arrival you will connect with your onward flight to the UK
