DETAILED ITINERARY

Day 1: London to Cape Town
Fly overnight from the UK to Cape Town.

Day 2: Cape Town
On arrival into Cape Town you will collect your family hire car and drive into the Mother City, heading to the family friendly Winchester Mansions where you will spend 4 nights in a Family Suite.

A great base for exploring the city this hotel really knows how to look after its big and little guests. Includes a “Stay 4 pay 3” Special – Book Now.

Days 3-5: Cape Town
Three full days to explore this incredible city! With lots to do in and out of the city you are perfectly located only 5mins drive from both the V&A Waterfront and the Atlantic beaches of Clifton and Camps Bay – the hotel also offers a complimentary shuttle service in the V&A.

Day 6: Cape Town to the Whale Coast
Driving 2hrs south to the Whale Coast you will spend the next 3 nights in the family chalet at the Mosaic Lagoon Lodge, a beautiful owner-run retreat on its own private sanctuary.

This stunning area offers some fantastic activities, awesome scenery and is the perfect base to enjoy the Whale Coast.

Days 7 & 8: The Whale Coast
Two days to enjoy Mosaic Lagoon Lodge. Activities included in your stay are 4×4 beach excursions, boat cruises & kayaking, quad bike excursions, mountain biking, guided nature walks, beach cave tours and wine tasting at Springfontein Wine Estate.

Day 9: The Whale Coast to Oudtshoorn
A long but stunning 5hr drive will take you north to join the Route 62 at the Langeberg Mountains (Swellendam is the perfect lunch stop) and continue into the Little Karoo to Oudtshoorn.

You will spend 3 nights in a family lake cabin at De Zeekoe Farm a lovely owner managed 2000 hectare working farm and boutique lodge. “Stay 3 pay 2” Special

Day 10 & 11: Oudtshoorn
Two full days to enjoy the attractions of Oudtshoorn (ostrich farms and Cango Caves) and the activities available on the farm. Day 12: Oudtshoorn to Madikwe Game Reserve
This morning you drive 1hr to George Airport, drop your hire car and check-in for your flight to Johannesburg. On arrival you will collect your new family hire car and drive 4 hours north to the Madikwe Game Reserve where you will end your holiday with an incredible 3 night safari at the Tuningi Safari Lodge.

Staying in a beautiful 2 bedroom family suite the lodge is catered for families, has great staff, lots of activities geared towards the kids and the perfect amount of luxury in the bush.

Days 13 & 14: On safari in Madikwe
Two full days of exiting game viewing in the Madikwe Game Reserve. Catering for families the lodge offers child friendly game drives, treasure hunts, boma dinners, pizza making, star gazing and lots of fun educational activities.

Day 15: Madikwe to the UK (via Johannesburg)
Following a final morning game drive and breakfast you will drive 4hrs back to Johannesburg International Airport to check-in for your overnight International flight back to UK.
