DETAILED ITINERARY

Day 1: UK to Bangkok
Fly from the UK to Bangkok directly. 

Day 2: Bangkok
On arrival into Bangkok airport you will be met and transferred approx. 45 minutes to Ariyasom Villa where you will spend your first 3 nights. Set in tropical gardens this boutique, authentic Thai Villa is in the heart of Bangkok. Enjoy the tranquil surroundings as you settle in and relax by the pool after your long journey. Or you could head out to explore the vibrant city. Welcome to Thailand! 

Day 3: Bangkok
You will have the morning at leisure before you are collected this afternoon for a private Bangkok Exploration Tour for an insight into traditional Thai culture! Begin with a walk-through Chinatown as you visit tea shops and markets, head to the Bangkok Folk Museum, before boarding a longtail boat. See another side of local life as you cruise along the Chao Phraya River! Pass houses built on stilts before you pay a visit to Wat Arun temple. Then, head back to your hotel for a relaxing evening. 

Day 4: Bangkok
Early this morning you will be collected for your Damnoen Saduak Floating Market tour. This floating market is one of the most popular in Thailand – as you glide along the water, watch as locals and tourists shop from boats and absorb the atmosphere of this unique experience. After the tour, return to the hotel – spend the rest of the day by the pool, or continue exploring the city under your own steam. 

Day 5: Bangkok to Kanchanaburi 
This morning you will be collected and transferred north for approx. 3 hrs to Kanchanaburi. Stop for lunch near the famous ‘Bridge on the River Kwai’, pay a visit to the Thailand-Burma Railway Centre Museum and stroll through the historical lanes in the Pak Preak community. Your journey continues to The Float House River Kwai where you will spend the next 3 nights. This floating hotel offers a unique stay – enjoy your own private, luxurious villa on top of the water! 

Day 6: Kanchanaburi 
Today you will be collected and transferred to the Hellfire Pass Museum, and trek along the Memorial Walking Trail. You will also enjoy a short train ride along the famous ‘death railway’! After your tour, you will be taken back to your hotel. You can hire canoes or grab a SUP board to paddle along the river, or hop on a bike and take in the natural beauty of your surroundings on two wheels. 

Day 7: Kanchanaburi 
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel, before you visit Prasat Muang Singh, a Khmer temple complex, before you head back to your hotel to relax or enjoy one of the activities available through the hotel. Want to explore more of Thailand? Talk to us about adding in a stop or two before you heard to Laos!

Day 8: Kanchanaburi to Vientiane 
Early this morning you will be collected and transferred approx 3 1/2 hrs to Bangkok airport, where you will check in for your flight to Vientiane. On arrival into Laos, you will be transferred approx. 20 mins to spend 1 night at the Green Park Boutique Hotel. Featuring classic Laos architecture, this hotel is in a fantastic location, with all the major tourist sites within walking distance. This afternoon you will be met for a Half Day Tour of Vientiane – start at the Wat Sisaket and Wat Phra Keo Temples before heading to Patuxay Monument, and wrap up the tour with a visit to That Luang. Head back to the hotel to relax, or head to Ban Anou night market. This is a wonderful chance to see local life up front! Does this sound like too many temples? Day 9: Vientiane to Vang Vieng 
This morning you will be collected and transferred approx. 30 mins to the train station, where you will board the train departing to Vang Vieng. On arrival in to Vang Vieng station you will be met and transferred approx. 10 mins to Riverside Boutique Resort where you will spend the next 2 nights. This award winning, luxury hotel is full of charm and beautiful design! Settle in this afternoon – your room will have a balcony which is the perfect place to relax after your journey! 

Day 10: Vang Vieng 
Today you’ll explore the natural beauty of Laos, as you are collected for your half-day guided Vang Vieng tour. Cross the Nam Song River and head into the countryside, travel through rice paddies and arrive at Tham Pou Kham, a cave located 100 metres underground. Wander around the cave, or enjoy a swim in the waterhole. Continue through the country side to Tham Chang Cave which offers spectacular views over the surrounding area before you return to your hotel. Day 11: Vang Vieng to Luang Prabang 
You will jump back on the train today, as you continue north to Luang Prabang. On arrival, you will be met and transferred approx. 25 mins to spend the next 4 nights in Maison Dalabua – a charming boutique property that is surrounded by three UNESCO classified lily ponds. Enjoy the rest of the day at your leisure in this serene location! 

Day 12: Luang Prabang 
This morning you will be collected for your Kuang Si Waterfalls Full Day Tour. Head out of the city and journey through Luang Prabang’s beautiful countryside as you make your way to the stunning falls. This is a highlight of any Laos trip, enjoy a swim in the stunning pools, and a special picnic lunch will be prepared so you can enjoy local dishes with a spectacular view! 

Days 13 & 14: Luang Prabang 
You will have two full days at leisure to explore Luang Prabang. Wander among ancient temples, cruise (or walk) along the Mekong River, observing the local life as you go. There are also activities available to book through your hotel, including cooking classes, cycling tours and plenty more! 

Day 15: Luang Prabang to Koh Jum Island
Following breakfast, you will be transferred approx. 15 mins to Luang Prabang airport, where you will catch a flight to Krabi (via Bangkok). On arrival into Krabi, you will be met and transferred via road and boat to Koh Jum Beach Villas, where you will spend your final 6 nights. This exclusive, beachfront resort is the perfect place to lose yourself in secluded beaches and lush tropical landscape. 

Days 16-20: Koh Jum, Krabi
Five full days to relax and unwind in paradise! If you feel like being active, there are plenty of excursions on offer – you can go mountain climbing, island hopping, SUP boarding kayaking and cycling. These are just a few ideas! Day 21: Koh Jum to the UK
Today you will transfer back to Phuket airport via boat and road to check in for your flight/s to the UK.
