DETAILED ITINERARY

Day 1: London to Maun
Fly overnight from the UK to Maun (via Johannesburg).

Day 2: Maun to the Okavango Delta
On arrival into Maun, the safari capital of Botswana, you will transfer by light aircraft into the heart of the mighty Okavango Delta to start your safari with 2 nights at Pelo Camp. We love our traditional bush camps at Sundowner and this authentic 5 tented camp, run by Wilderness Safaris, has a prime location for enjoying the water channels of the Delta.

Day 3: Okavango Delta
With permanent water Pelo Camp is all about the guided mokoro excursions (traditional dugout canoes) through the Okavango Delta and makes for a perfect introduction to this beautiful wetland paradise. Day 4: Okavango Delta to the Khwai Concession
After a final morning mokoro and breakfast you will hop by light aircraft to the Khwai concession to continue your safari with 2 nights at Sango Safari Camp. Another intimate camp with only 6 tented rooms, it’s a well run camp and the focus at Sango is all about the guides and great game viewing.

Day 5: Khwai Concession
Full day of game viewing in the Khwai Concession. Although mokoros are available when water levels allow, the main activities at Sango are land based with game drives, night drives and walking safaris in search of the amazing wildlife of this region.

Day 6: Khwai Concession to Chobe National Park
Following a morning game drive you will fly by light aircraft north to Kasane and transfer into the Chobe National Park to enjoy your last 2 nights on safari at Muchenje Lodge.  A sundowner favourite, Muchenje has a great location in the quieter Chobe Forest region of the park and commands lovely views over the Chobe River.

Day 7: Chobe National Park
Full day of game viewing in the Chobe National Park on ranger led game drives, boat safaris on the Chobe River, bush walks and night drives. At Muchenje you can also arrange a cultural excursion to the local village.

Day 8: Chobe National Park to Victoria Falls
Following a morning game activity and breakfast you will transfer across the border into Zambia and head along the Upper Zambezi to the mighty Victoria Falls or Mosi oa Tunya (Smoke that Thunders). Staying upstream your final 2 nights will be spent at Waterberry Lodge, another firm Sundowner favourite offering a relaxed atmosphere on the banks of the Zambezi River.

Day 9: Victoria Falls
Full day to enjoy Victoria Falls. Your stay at Waterberry includes 1 in-house activity and you can choose from a visit to the Falls, daytime or sunset cruise, fishing, island picnics, guided birding, guided village walks and a guided tour of Livingstone town & markets.

Day 10: Victoria Falls to the UK
After a final morning on the Zambezi you will be transferred to Livingstone Airport for your flight back to the UK (via Johannesburg).

Day 11: Home
