DETAILED ITINERARY

Day 1: London to Maun
Fly overnight from the UK to Maun (via Johannesburg).

Day 2: Maun to the Selinda Game Reserve
On arrival into Maun, the safari capital of Botswana, you will transfer by light aircraft to the Selinda Game Reserve, heading to Motswiri Camp to spend 5 nights on safari (including 1 night fly-camping).

Offering some of the best walking and riding safaris in Botswana, this lovely intimate camp delivers a first class safari experience from its secluded location on the Selinda Spillway – we love this camp!

Days 3 to 6: Selinda Game Reserve
Four full days to explore Selinda with the Motswiri Team. The main focus is fantastic guided horse-riding safaris and walking safaris but depending on the water levels the camp can also offer some game drives and game viewing from the water by boat and mokoro (traditional dugout canoe).

During your stay you will also head out for an incredible night of fly camping to the more remote areas of the reserve – a definite highlight!

Day 7: Selinda Game Reserve to Victoria Falls
Following a final morning walk and breakfast you will leave Motswiri with teary eyes but your adventure will continue as you fly to Kasane Airport and transfer over the border into Zimbabwe, heading to the incredible Victoria Falls.

You will end your safari with 3 nights at Gorges Lodge, a beautiful 10 chalet lodge in a stunning location on the edge of the Bakota Gorge, 200m above the Zambezi River.

Days 8 & 9: Victoria Falls
Two full days to enjoy the Falls and mighty Zambezi – your stay at Gorges includes 2 activities per day with a choice of a guided tour of Victoria Falls, visits to the local village, gorge walks, black eagle viewing and a sundowner cruise on the Zambezi.

We can also arrange a wealth of activities in the area such as microlight flights, white water rafting and elephant back safaris….

Day 10: Victoria Falls to the UK
After a final morning you will be transferred to Victoria Falls Airport for your flight back to the UK (via Johannesburg).
