DETAILED ITINERARY

Day 1: London to Maun
Fly overnight from the UK to Maun (via Johannesburg).

Day 2: Maun to the Central Kalahari Game Reserve
On arrival into Maun, the safari capital of Botswana, you will transfer by light aircraft into the vast plains of the Central Kalahari Game Reserve to start your safari with 2 nights at Tau Pan, an excellent eco luxury camp run by Kwando Safaris, one of the best safari operators in Africa.

Day 3: Central Kalahari Game Reserve
Full day of game viewing in the Central Kalahari with expert guides and trackers. This region really comes to life from December to April and the activities at Tau Pan include guided game drives, nature walks with bushman trackers, excursions to Deception Valley, bush brunches on the Tau Pan and star gazing.

Day 4: Central Kalahari Game Reserve to the Okavango Delta
Following a morning activity and breakfast you will fly by light aircraft to the Okavango Delta, heading to the Kwando Concession where you will spend 2 nights at Kwara Camp.

The sister camp to Tau Pan, Kwara offers an exclusive safari in its own private concession and is all about the location, guides and excellent variety of activities. A great camp!

Day 5: Okavango Delta
Full day of game viewing at Kwara with expert guides and trackers. Overlooking the lagoons of the northern Delta and bordering the Moremi Game reserve this camp offers amazing wildlife viewing on a variety of both water and land based activities – game drives, night drives, walking safaris, boat safaris and mokoro safaris (traditional dug-out canoe)

Day 6: Okavango Delta to the Kwando Concession
Following a morning activity and breakfast you will continue your safari with a light aircraft flight north to the Kwando River to spend your last 2 nights in the vast Kwando Concession at Lagoon Camp.

Also operated by Kwando safaris, Lagoon Camp offers an exclusive safari, excellent guides and great opportunities to see lots of predators, particularly the African wild dog.

Day 7: Kwando Concession
Full day of game viewing on the Kwando concession with expert guides and trackers. Activities at Lagoon are focused on day and night game drives but they also have a double decker boat for safaris on the Kwando River (water level dependent).

Day 8: Kwando Concession to Victoria Falls
Following a morning game activity and breakfast you will fly by light aircraft to Kasane and transfer across the border into Zambia, heading to the mighty Victoria Falls or Mosi oa Tunya (Smoke that Thunders).

Staying right next to the falls your final 2 nights will be spent at the luxurious Royal Livingstone, with an unbeatable location for those wanting to visit the falls with direct access into the park and beautiful grounds on the banks on the Zambezi.

Day 9: Victoria Falls
Full day to enjoy Victoria Falls. If you really want to say you’ve “seen the falls” then consider crossing the bridge and also visiting the Zimbabwean side of Victoria Falls for a completely different perspective!

We can also arrange a host of activities including helicopters and elephant back safaris.

Day 10: Victoria Falls to the UK
After a final morning on the Zambezi you will be transferred to Livingstone Airport for your flight back to the UK (via Johannesburg).
