DETAILED ITINERARY

Day 1: London to Maun
Fly overnight from the UK to Maun (via Johannesburg).

Day 2: Maun to the Okavango Delta
On arrival into Maun, the safari capital of Botswana, you will transfer by light aircraft into the incredible Okavango Delta to start your safari with 3 nights at the award winning Kanana Camp. One of the best camps in the delta, Kanana’s location allows for an excellent variety of activities and we love their “sleepout deck under the stars” located 20 minutes from camp. The glass bottom mokoros (traditional canoes) also deserve a mention!

Days 3 & 4: Okavango Delta
Two full days in the heart of the Okavango Delta with excellent guides to enjoy the game drives, motorboat safaris, mokoro excursions, walking safaris and night drives. Kanana is also a fantastic birding area and will be a twitcher’s delight, especially from September onwards….

Day 5: Okavango Delta to the Moremi Game Reserve
Following a morning activity and breakfast you will hop by light aircraft to the world famous Moremi Game Reserve to spend your next 3 nights on safari at Camp Okuti. The sister camp to Kanana, it has a really funky design with 8 Mosasas (ancient curved reed houses), a cool pool deck overlooking the lagoon and it sits in one of the most densely population game regions of Botswana.

Days 6 & 7: Moremi Game Reserve
Two full days in the game rich Moremi Game Reserve, considered one of the best game viewing regions in Africa. At Okuti you get the best of both worlds with ranger led game drives and boat safaris into the Delta.

Day 8: Moremi Game Reserve to Victoria Falls
Following a morning activity and breakfast you will hop by light aircraft to Kasane airport where you will be met and will transfer across the border into Zambia, heading to the mighty Victoria Falls or Mosi oa Tunya (Smoke that Thunders) to spend your last 2 nights at on Sindabezi Island.

The sound of the hippos takes a bit of getting used to but this stylish island retreat is romantic, exclusive and very much in the heart of Africa – we love it!

Day 9: Victoria Falls
Full day on the Zambezi at Sindabezi. Activities included in your stay are guided canoeing excursions, island lunches, sunrise and sunset cruises, guided bush walks, fishing, Maramba market visit, Simonga village excursion and the Sampan floating candlelit dinner.

Day 10: Victoria Falls to the UK
After a final morning on the Zambezi you will be transferred to Livingstone Airport for your flight back to the UK (via Johannesburg).
