DETAILED ITINERARY

Day 1: London to Maun
Fly overnight from the UK to Maun (via Johannesburg).

Day 2: Maun to the Okavango Delta
On arrival into Maun, the safari capital of Botswana, you will transfer by light aircraft into the incredible Okavango Delta to start your safari with 2 nights under canvas at Kana Kara Camp. With great guides, a beautiful location overlooking the northern Delta and an authentic bush camp experience, we love Kana Kara.

Day 3: Okavango Delta
One of the most exciting game viewing areas in Africa you will have the opportunity to experience both land and water based activities on game drives, game walks and mokoro excursions (traditional dugout canoes). Day 4: Okavango Delta to the Khwai Concession
After a morning activity and breakfast you will hop by light aircraft to the Khwai concession to continue your safari with 2 nights at Sango Safari Camp. Another intimate camp with only 6 tented rooms, it’s a well run camp and the focus at Sango is all about the guides and great game viewing.

Day 5: Khwai Concession
Full day of game viewing in the Khwai Concession. Although mokoros are available when water levels allow the main activities at Sango are land based with game drives, night drives and walking safaris in search of the amazing wildlife of this region.

Day 6: Khwai Concession to Chobe National Park
Following a morning game drive you will fly by light aircraft north to Kasane and transfer into the Chobe National Park to enjoy your last 2 nights on safari at Chobe Elephant Camp. One of the newer camps in the park it has a lovely location away from the crowds in the western forests and has great view of the Chobe River – the bar is a great spot for a sundowner!

Day 7: Chobe National Park
With excellent game viewing and one of the highest concentrations of Elephant on the planet, activities include ranger led game drives and boat cruises on the Chobe River. The lodge also offers a walk through local village to learn about the local Sibuya tribe.

Day 8: Chobe National Park to the Upper Zambezi
Following a morning game activity and breakfast you will transfer across the border into Zambia and head along the Upper Zambezi to spend your last 3 nights at Waterberry Lodge, a firm Sundowner favourite offering a relaxed atmosphere on the banks of the Zambezi River. Days 9 & 10: Victoria Falls & the Upper Zambezi
Two full days to enjoy Victoria Falls & the Upper Zambezi. Your stay at Waterberry includes 1 in-house activity and you can choose from a visit to the Falls, daytime or sunset cruise, fishing, island picnics, guided birding, guided village walks and a guided tour of Livingstone town & markets.

Day 11: The Upper Zambezi to the UK
After a final morning on the Zambezi you will be transferred to Livingstone Airport for your flight back to the UK (via Johannesburg).

Day 12: Home:
Welcome Home Mr and Mrs……(it may take a while to adjust back into a normal routine!!)
