DETAILED ITINERARY

Day 1: London to Maun
Fly overnight from the UK to Maun (via Johannesburg).

Day 2: Maun to the Okavango Delta
On arrival into Maun, the safari capital of Botswana, you will transfer by light aircraft into the incredible Okavango Delta to start your safari with 2 nights at the Oddballs Camp, staying in a family tent.

This great, family friendly, 15 tent eco camp does not operate any generators or offer motorized activities and is all about escaping into the wilderness, enjoying the sounds of the bush and exploring the delta by canoe and foot.

Day 3: Okavango Delta
Full day safari in the Delta with your experienced guide as you enjoy mokoro excursions (traditional dugout canoe) and walking safaris on one of the Delta’s larger islands.

Children can also play bush football with Elephant dung! At Oddballs they offer a very personalised safari experience with your own private highly qualified guide – this also means you can enjoy your family safari at your own pace!

Day 4: Okavango Delta to Moremi Game Reserve
This morning you will hop by light aircraft to Xakanaxa, in the heart of the Moremi Game Reserve, to meet your expert safari team and start your private Mobile Camping adventure! Starting with 2 nights in this region you will have a private camp set up just for your family as you stay in a large en-suite family tent and experience a true African safari in the Botswana wilderness.

Day 5: Moremi Game Reserve
Full day to enjoy one of the best game viewing regions in Southern Africa! Days will start with an early game drive after tea and coffee around the fire, followed by a late brunch and a siesta before tea and an evening drive, returning for supper and stories under a canopy of stars!

Day 6: Moremi to the Khwai Concession
Following a morning game activity you will continue your adventure by driving 2 hours to the bordering reserve of the Khwai Concession to spend a further 2 nights on your private Mobile Camping safari.

There really is no better way to explore the wildlife packed parks of Botswana as you sit around the campfire with your family after a day of thrilling game viewing.

Day 7: The Khwai Concession
Another excellent wildlife region you will set off with your private guide and 4×4 for a day of more exciting game viewing. At the end of the day you will return to camp for sunset drinks, a hot bucket shower in your en-suite bathroom and a final night under the Botswana stars!

Day 8: Khwai Concession to Victoria Falls
Enjoying a last morning game drive and breakfast in camp you will say goodbye to your guide and fly by light aircraft to Kasane Airport in northern Botswana. On arrival you will be met and transferred across the border into Zimbabwe, heading to the magnificent Victoria Falls to end your holiday with 3 nights in 2 interconnecting Standard Rooms at Ilala Lodge.

A fantastic location very close to Victoria Falls and perfect for exploring the town, this small boutique hotel with lovely grounds and pool is a firm Sundowner favourite.

Days 9 – 10: Victoria Falls
Two full days to visit one of the most incredible waterfalls in the world and enjoy the many of the activities of the region – elephant back safaris, helicopter flights, gorge swings, flying foxes, white water rafting, cultural tours, bungee , sunset cruises and more…..

Day 11: Victoria Falls to the UK
After a final morning of adventure you will be transferred to Victoria Falls Airport for your flight back to the UK (via Johannesburg).

Day 12: Home
Welcome Home….(now that’s going to be a hard one to beat!!)
