Day 1: UK to Bangkok
Fly overnight from the UK to Bangkok.
Day 2: Bangkok
On arrival into Bangkok today, you will be met and transferred approx 30 mins into the city, where you will spend your first 3 nights at Riva Surya Bangkok. This boutique hotel is an urban oasis, with elegant rooms and delicious cuisine, it is located in the perfect place along the Chao Phraya River! You can spend the rest of the day exploring the city under your own steam, or settle in by the pool. Welcome to Thailand!
Days 3 & 4: Bangkok
You have two full days to explore this amazing city at leisure! Visit markets to try some Thai street food, marvel at the golden stupas and colourful mosaics at the Grand Palace and visit Wat Phra Kaew, the most famous building within the palace and regarded as the most sacred Buddhist temple in Thailand! Head to Damnoen Saduak Floating Market for a unique shopping experience, or join a longtail boat tour on the Thonburi Klongs Canals to observe local life as you cruise past. Day 5: Bangkok to Kanchanaburi
Early this morning, you will be met and transferred approx. 3 1/2 hrs to Kanchanaburi and Hintok River Camp @ Hellfire Pass where you will stay for the next 3 nights. The Camp is close to the infamous Hellfire Pass and features a natural spring pool where you will be surrounded by trees and nature for a truly peaceful stay. Once you have arrived and checked in, you will embark on a longtail boat trip on the river Kwai. Stop at the famous ‘Bridge over the River Kwai’ before heading to the Death Railway Museum and War Cemetery. You’ll then head back to the hotel where you can relax and enjoy a dip in the pool!
Day 6: Kanchanaburi
After breakfast this morning you will be collected and transferred to the beautiful Erawan National Park. A major attraction of the park is the emerald ponds and waterfalls – hike along the nature trails to reach the pools and reward yourself with a dip in the water! Then, continue through the National Park to Phra That Cave to explore the stalagmites, and then after lunch you will take a short train ride on the notorious Death Railway through Kwai Noi Gorge. Return to the Camp this afternoon – you could hire a bike and explore the surrounding area, or stay by the pool and relax after your busy day!
Day 7: Kanchanaburi
This morning you will be collected for your day trip to Elephant World. The sanctuary provides a natural jungle landscape for the elephants to enjoy and provides you with the chance to bathe and scrub them! What an experience! Day 8: Kanchanaburi to Khao Sok (via Bangkok)
Early this morning you will be met and transferred approx. 3 1/2 hrs to Bangkok airport where you will check in for your flight to Surat Thani. On arrival in to Surat Thani, you will be collected and transferred approx. 1 hr to Khao Sok National Park, where you will then take a scenic boat ride along Chiew-Larn Lake and arrive at Panvaree The Greenery. You will then have 2 nights to stay on the water! Enjoy mountain views from your room on your own private terrace and soak up the stunning surroundings. This afternoon you could take a swim, explore the area in a kayak or simply relax out on your terrace.
Day 9: Khao Sok
Rise early this morning to head out on a river safari and watch as the sun rises over the peaks, before you head back to the hotel for breakfast. After some down time and a spot of lunch, you will head to the Prakarang coral cave – take a jungle trek to the emerald lagoon and then ride a bamboo boat to the cave where the stalagmites have a similar shape to coral. After, you will head back to the resort to spend the evening at your leisure.
Day 10: Khao Sok to Koh Samui
Enjoy a last morning in this beautiful National Park, before you board a longtail boat and head back to the pier. From there, you will catch a catamaran to Koh Samui, where you will end your Thailand adventure with 4 nights at Celes Samui. Located on the beach front, the luxurious Celes Samui offers breathtaking views of the Gulf of Thailand, as well as Koh Phangan, and provides serenity, comfort, and warm Thai hospitality for all guests. Days 11-13: Koh Samui
You have three full days to relax, enjoy water-sports, explore or chill out on the beach. You could head out on a snorkelling trip, or the hotel can help to arrange excursions for you that will allow you to explore more of the island. There’s a library on site stocked with books if you want something to read whilst you sunbathe or explore by kayak, take part in Thai boxing or yoga classes. Day 14: Koh Samui (via Bangkok)
This morning you will be transferred approx. 15 mins to Koh Samui Airport for your flights back to the UK.
