DETAILED ITINERARY

Day 1: UK to Bali
Fly overnight from the UK to Bali.

Day 2: Bali to Ubud
On arrival, you will be transferred to Ubud where you’ll be staying at The Mansion Bali for 6 nights. Time to hit the pool!

Day 3: Ubud
Today you have a full day at leisure in the wonderful town of Ubud. Get out and explore the cultural streets and many delicious restaurants, take a walk to the market, or simply relax by the pool.

Day 4: Ubud
Start today with a visit to Ubud’s traditional market and mingle with locals buying fruit, vegetables, spices, and sweets for today’s meal. Then you’ll learn the art of making unique Balinese offerings, canang sari, which are made daily. Late morning, you’ll head to Ubud’s Monkey Forest and walk through this beautiful forest full of cheeky monkeys. Enjoy lunch in a local restaurant before taking a gentle trek through the rice fields before returning to your hotel.

Day 5: Ubud
This morning, you’ll head to a town near Ubud famous for its rice fields views: Sidemen. Take a gentle stroll through the luscious surroundings, try helping the locals with their farming jobs if you like! Later, you’ll enjoy a cooking class where you’ll learn to make delicious local foods before enjoying your typical Balinese lunch. You’ll then continue to Besakih Temple on the slopes of the volcano Gunung Agung.

Day 6: Ubud
This morning, you’ll transfer to the Elephant Park in Taro where you’ll enjoy a truly unforgettable experience of helping to wash and bathe the elephants. Wash, feed, and interact with these gentle giants before enjoying a gourmet breakfast in the park restaurant as the elephants soak up and dry off in the morning sunshine.

Day 7: Ubud
One final full day at leisure in Ubud to explore any places you missed or revisit some of your favourites. Or simply relax at your hotel and enjoy the pool for the day.

Day 8: Ubud to Menjangan
This morning, you’ll head to Jatiluwih rice terrace for a light trek before heading to Bali Treetop Adventure Park in Bedugul. Climb, swing, and jump through the trees! After the fun up in the trees, you’ll transfer to Lake Bratan for a delicious lunch and see the famous Ulun danu Temple. You’ll then continue to Plataran Menjangan where you’ll be staying for 4 nights.

Day 9: Menjangan
This morning you’ll head out with a local ranger for a walk through the scenery to the Bird Observation Deck. Later, head to the picnic spot for a delicious picnic breakfast before returning to the resort by buggy with the rest of your day at leisure.

Day 10: Menjangan
You’ll spend today on a snorkelling boat trip around Menjangan Island, widely considered one of the best diving and snorkelling spots in the region. Spend the day jumping in and out of the water, searching for colourful fish and coral. Enjoy a picnic style lunch on the beach and a visit to Menjangan Temple before returning to your hotel.

Day 11: Menjangan
A full day at leisure for some family time on the beach or in the pool.

Day 12: Menjangan to Sanur
After breakfast this morning, you’ll be collected for the drive to Sanur in southern Bali where you’ll be staying for 4 nights at Tandjung Sari – this beautiful beach resort provides a perfect end to a wonderful family holiday.

Day 13: Sanur – Waterbom Bali
Today is a day for fun, thrills and water – lots of it! You’ll transfer to Waterbom Bali, one of the best waterparks in the world, to spend as long as you like enjoying the pools, lazy rivers, and flumes. Your driver will transfer you back to your hotel when you are ready.

Day 14: Sanur
A full day at leisure to spend on the beach or in the pool. Recharge your batteries and soak up the last of the sun as you reflect on your Bali family adventure.

Day 15: Bali to the UK
Today you’ll transfer to Denpasar Airport to check in for your flight back to the UK.

Day 16: UK
